This study aims to analyze the effect of alcohol abuse on student disciplinary violations and to examine the role of Islamic values as an intervening variable at MTs Nurul Yaqin, Cikarang. The research employs a quantitative correlational approach supported by qualitative data from interviews. The sample consists of 40 students from grades VIII and IX selected through purposive sampling. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between alcohol abuse and disciplinary violations. Students exposed to negative environments tend to show higher levels of misconduct, such as truancy, lateness, and aggressive behavior. However, Islamic values function as an effective intervening variable by strengthening students’ self-control and reducing negative influences. Qualitatively, Islamic Education teachers’ strategies such as role modeling, religious habituation, and persuasive approaches are proven effective in fostering student discipline. The study concludes that strengthening Islamic values contextually can serve as a strategic solution to prevent disciplinary violations influenced by negative social environments.
