The Influence of the Cooperative learning Method on Students' Learning Interest in the Subject of Islamic Cultural History at MTs Nurul Falah, Subang Regency

Abstract

Education is an important aspect of human life. Through education, humans will be trained cognitively, psychomotorically, and affectively so as to create a learning process in a science. The learning process is an activity of transferring knowledge and science from educators or teachers to students or pupils. This aims to convey messages related to learning materials, training skills and knowledge of students related to learning materials, and media for interaction between teachers and pupils. Method is a way used to implement plans that have been prepared in real activities so that the goals that have been prepared are achieved optimally. This means a method that is prepared in such a way that is implemented in teaching and learning activities with the aim of achieving optimal learning outcomes in accordance with the main principles in education. Interest in learning is a sense of curiosity followed by a sense of desire and interest in learning activities with a sense of pleasure without coercion from any party. This interest in learning can be seen from curiosity, student behavior during lessons, student liking for the student, and student activity in the learning process. Interest in learning can be said if students have a sense of interest in a learning, then automatically the student has a sense of liking for the learning. Based on this background, the researcher is interested in conducting a study entitled "The Effect of Cooperative learning Methods on Students' Interest in Learning Islamic Cultural History Subjects at MTs Nurul Falah, Subang Regency". The method used in this study is the correlation method, the approach used is a quantitative approach. Furthermore, data collection techniques are Observation, Questionnaire Distribution, and Documentation. While the Data Analysis Technique uses Descriptive Analysis, Inferential Test, Normality Test, Linearity Test, and Hypothesis Test consisting of T Test, Correlation Test, and Simple Linear Regression Test. This study will show the extent to which the cooperative learning method influences students' interest in learning.
