Religious Tolerance and Harmony

Indonesia is a country with many diversity, one of which is diversity in religions. This should be an independent responsibility for the Indonesian people to always create harmony in the midst of differences. The background is what makes the author interested in discussing religious tolerance and harmony from an islamic perspective. The method selected in this study is a qualitative descriptive method in which the data is collected through library studies. The results of this study found that Islam teaches the concept of tolerance. The concept of tolerance in Islam is a respect for the beliefs of others and a prohibition of insulting the beliefs of others. The concept of tolerance in Islam is also familiar with limits aimed at avoiding hurricanes and apostasy.
