Characterizing Human Nature: A Study of QS. Ali Imran [3]: 14-17 in Tafsir Al-Tarbiyah Al-Islamiyah

This study explains the characteristics of human nature and fitrah created and how it is viewed regarding Islamic education according to tafsir at-Tarbiyah al-Islamiyah. In nature, humans are created with properties that love worldly things. However, the problem is how to control these traits so as not to exceed the limits or even violate the law. The explanation of tafsir at-Tarbawiyah al-Islamiyah tries to describe this method by explaining the content contained in QS. Ali Imran: 14-17. The research method in this article is a qualitative type of literature study. The primary source is obtained from the book of tafsir Tarbiyah al-Islamiyah and the secondary is from books and articles. The analysis technique used is content analysis. The results of this paper explain that the characteristics of desiring worldly things are not prohibited by Allah. To solve the problem so that humans do not overdo it in loving the world, QS. Ali Imran: 14-17 explains that humans must have patience, honesty, obedience to Allah, infaq, and always ask for forgiveness from Allah. The goal is that these traits can be a balanced so that humans do not exceed the limits and violate the law.
